Piss on it. *preorders Voyager FE Prime from BBTS*

 

Looking at the pictures a bit more in-depth...I'm liking it more and more. Only real issue I have with it, is the translucent plastic used in the arms, and even that's not too big of an issue. I'm completely ok with the electronics, because by the looks of it, they're only in the gun rather than Prime himself. I'm also looking forward to seeing how this gimmick plays out for some of the other figures.

 

I will pass. I am satisfied with my super sexy takara FE Optimus.

 

It's not bad but if I had to choose right now and this is the internet so I must, it'd be the FE version.

 

This will probably be a pass from me. I only really need Voyager Prime (even though I haven't been able to find him yet...) unless they release a Leader class Prime, I'm not that interested...

 

Yeah I'm going to skip this new Voyager Optimus since the First Edition looks MUCH then this one not to mention more accurate to boot! I REALLY hope that these gimmicks and more simple transformation won't make the Prime line the next Armada line where the gimmicks hinder ter toys horribly! 

However seeing how Awsome the Voyagers Skyquake and Starscream look not to mention the Deluxes Wheeljack and Soundwave it may not come to that! 

 

Maybe it's an ultra size. Perhaps the arms are mistransformed and the forearms are a bit more concealed.

 

i like it, just one question. how is it supposed to come out in february if we havent even gotten the first voyagers?!?!?

 

eh. i like the original release one better .. or MY TAKARA TOMY VERSION!!! love it!

 

As long as gimmick-less versions of all the characters that got First Edition releases also get Wave 1 & 2 releases in the RID packaging, I'll be fine. I'd hate to find out that we had to get the FE's if we wanted normal versions of these figures in place of cheesy shit like this.

I don't want to have to settle for underbody lighting Prime, please Hasbro, don't make me do it, you can still have loads of my money, I promise!

 

I'd like to think that Hasbro wouldn't be that stupid, then I remember that I've learned from experience the hard way.

Yeah, we really shouldn't worry, this is Optimus Prime we're talking about, just gotta calm down a bit and wait it out a while longer. Problem is we've already been waiting so long and I've got an itchy PIN finger.  

 

I just really want a Leader class Optimus Prime. To me both voyagers are nice but, I would really prefer a more Masterpiece version of Tf Prime Optimus and Megatron (not that I am not going to a voyager up)

 

I'll probably end up getting this just because it seems like the U.S. will never get the Hasbro FE voyagers and I don't want to pay 40-50 bucks a piece for them, but I won't be too happy about it. Although something I LOVE about this new mold is that the nose of the truck doesn't have that awkward slope to it, it looks much more like the show version and evokes less of a stylized look, which is what Prime designs seem to be in vehicle mode.

 

So this new mold of Optimus Prime has electronics in it? Will this new mold be Hasbro version or TakaraTomy version?

 

I really don't mind this new mold and like you I think the truck mode is way better. The forearms kind of bother me but they may not be as noticeable in person, I just hope the articulation Is equal to or better then the first eddition (worried about the waist)

 

Looks pretty good, aside from the clear forearms, but I can live with them.
