This is insane, the gameplay looks so cool. And just like all the the other MGS games before, the in-game graphics are the same as in the cutscenes. Simply amazing. And WTF at the ending of the trailer. Once again, Kojima has mindfucked me.

I think Hideo Kojima writes down all the weird ideas he has in a year and then pieces together the game's storyline from that. Actually, that would probably make a lot more sense.

Yeah, I gotta say the ending of that video has me raising a few eyebrows. Still, move over cardboard box, say hello to 55 gallon drum! I just LOL'd when he started barrel rolling literally. His little robots a bit on the hilarious side as well. The game play looks killer. Snake has now added rolling to his repetoire and I like how you can shoot from a lying prostrate position. I like the new camo suit. It takes one of the best elements of MGS3 and gives it a nice futuristic twist. Definitely beats stealth camouflage. I wonder if there's a limitation to its use. And the half Rey, half Rex Metal Gears look like they're going to be a bitch to fight. The PS3's price is a little easier to bear with a game like this, but not by much.

Now that was amazing!! I can't wait to get it!

    *POSSIBLE SPOILER**

So far, every MGS4 vid we saw depicts Snake as this old man. However, at the very end of this vid, he looks like he always did -- Thirtysomething... I wonder why?

Meh. After how awesome MGS3 was this is leaving me somewhat cold. The stealth suit is cool but I can't help thinking it's taking the challenge out of the game, where's the point if it can perfectly blend into any back ground? The camouflage from 3 was unrealistic with the instant changing but at least you had to pick your spot carefully to remain undetected, you couldn't lie on open ground in front of a guard like Snake does in this trailer.

Perhaps there are 2 Snakes. One being a former boss.

Impressive, but I HATE how all the characters still move around like in MGS3. It was alright in that because it was a PS2 title, but with these realistic graphics it's all the more noticeable and annoying.

It didnt do much for me. Looked kind of bland and the some of the animations look horrible. Plus its a continuation of MGS2 and the MG's moo and pee.

Also for it being gameplay footage they sure showed a lot of cinematic camera angles that would make it violently hard to play if the camera changed like that.

Seems to me the older Snake is Solid Snake, and the younger one is a new clone of Big Boss... why not? Solid Snake is a clone of Big Boss already...

wow... I'm amazed. Now I want a ps3 so I can play it.

    It looks unbelievable.

He can feign dead. Lots of crazy object interaction (like the barrel). The new shooting position (from his back).

Kojima a master in his own art. I loved MGS3 and I will probably plunge my budget into overdrive to play this game. It's better than any film... it's more like a series of films that have woven their way into my heart.

I don't want to see Snake die, especially as we've seen depicted (suicide).

I'm also curious as to who the young Snake is too. That hadn't been mentioned or shown before (to my knowlege). It could be a flashback or another part of the advance camouflage.

It's anybodys game. I hope that it makes all the fans of the series happy. I hope it goes out with grace and dignity.

Don't forget that, in the end of MGS3, Big Boss and Eva spend a night together. Then Eva disappears, never to be seen again.

I'm betting you that's the identity of our mystery Snake. :)

That would make that Snake even older then the Current (MGS, MGS2) Snake though.

It's probably another Snake clone. The real one tops himself and they just cook up a new one.

Dude, Big Boss was sterile after all the exposure he had to atomic explosions. Plus he'd be older than Snake in MGS4 as someone else had said. I'm thinking Kojima's fucking with us.

BTW, here's the new MGS: Portable Ops trailer (with English voice acting): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clKDO7IRRuU

Yeah, they don't really look like the pre-renders. :(  Nice and all, but not what I was expecting.

Anyways, yeah, some nice new features, though. I'm hot for that camo.

It looks good because its Metal Gear, but the graphics are certainly not better than the 360. On par, but not better. Looks like I'll be waiting for a price drop.
