Good to meet you man, I'll let you know for sure next one we meet up. Should be sometime in July probably
The beginning of the movie was fun. 30-40 minutes. Some laughs in the middle... lots of head scratching and laughing at things that weren't intended to be funny the last hour.
Thanks for the movie feedback. It made up my mind and gonna save my money on buying figures instead of watching this movie. Will probably end up renting it when it comes out in about 3 months.
I'm wicked late to the bash on TLK train but it was a great and funny movie if you do not take it seriously whatsoever. I had a blast watching it. It's a shit Transformers movie though, so if you want to see it for that, it's a hard pass.
Had a hard time watching #4. Besides seeing all the mistakes throughout the whole movie, it was like they spliced one brand advertisement after another throughout the whole movie. Good thing I didn't spend any money on it at the theaters.
Hey all, has anyone seen anything new or exciting at retail? I finally got tempted by leader Sky Shadow just to find that a few Targets don't have tags for leader figures anymore and the one on Eubank has the self tag, but it's empty. I also noticed similar things at Walmart. Are they phasing out TR leaders at retail?
Any of you into nerf at all? Or know of someone into it? I am dabbling with the modding of some nerf blasters, so far I do a fair job with the painting.
Redid Lobo's shelves today. Restocked a bunch as well make sure you check it out, before it's empty again
Went out toy hunting yesterday. Noticed that Target was having a 15% off of TF figures. If you're looking to complete some of your toylines, head out there.
So you saw this on Saturday? Target's ads run from Sunday to Saturday. So if you saw this Saturday and posted about it on Sunday, the ad was already over. Oh well.
TRU has BOGO 40% on movie toys until Tuesday. Not sure if they're closed tomorrow though... There's also a toy show on Saturday, from 9-4 hosted by Surreal comics and collectibles. I'm splitting the table with Gilbert, but there's other vendors who will have a collection of robot or non robot stuff too. Kids under 12 are free.
I wounder if it was store specific? Because I had gone in to the Uptown Target on Monday and found Sky Shadow. Then I remembered your post. Didn't see any signs, wasn't in the ad, and the clerk didn't know squat (surprising!). I have notice sometimes that Target does things a little different then others at times. Oh well, I still bought him and can't wait for Overlord! By the way, if anyone happens to find the Wingspan and Cloudraker set when they hit Walgreens, please let me know. I'll be hitting up my local Walgreens as well and will get extra sets if found. I know I'm excited for this, anyone else here as excited?
