    Ebay:
$185? For WHEELIE?? I mean, sure, they did a great job..but it's still Wheelie. "Chrome turd for sale on eBay."

    Cyclonus is pretty sweet, though.

If I were rich, I'd get Cyclonus in a micro-second. But, Wheelie? Why waste a nice custom metallic paint job on Wheelie? Do Grimlock, instead, dammit!

That fanmade Wheelie is better than the toy.

As for Cyclonus, he has "kickass" all over him.

at least these aren't trying to pretend they're an original idea. they're clearly saying that they're the characters they obviously are.

This isn't exactly "new" but yeah this guy does AMAZING work. Definitely worth the price compared to some of the other TF customs you see on Ebay.

I still really like these figures and would buy a set in a heartbeat if I could, but the paint job on these versions remind me of those cheesy metallic Christmas ornaments for some reason.

Ah who am I kidding... I'd still own these too if I had the chance.

Both of these are absolutely phenominal, and it blows my mind that someone managed to make them independently "at home". Even Hasbro/Takara themselves would be hard pressed to make versions of these characters as good or better that what's seen here - the detail is amazing, not to mention the near perfect bot AND alt modes of each one.

I think both would fit in perfectly with the Classics and am seriously considering buying them. We already got G1 Titanium Scourge and are about to get Classics 2.0 Galvatron, so this Cyclonus could fit nicely into the mix.

This guy's customs have been featured on this site before... he has his own site which currently showcases his in-progress Powerglide and Octane figures. Interesting character choices, really... and impossibly well engineered.

Phenomenal scratch-building skills... the legality of the designs is a bit vague. But I wouldn't consider this to be ethically questionable. These aren't KO's... they're completely original hand-crafted sculptures... that happen to be homages to pop-culture characters that Hasbro (at least currently) has no competing figures for.

I mean, I suppose it begs the question of whether custom Transformers and action figures like Jin Saotome's are "legal" as well. I wonder where the line is drawn, technically.

yep, looks like built and painted jizai kits or recasted jizai kits

the price isn't that bad, the unpainted kits sold for a lot more last time they were on ebay.
