MP megatron: looks awsome I am so gonna get it!

I'll be buying MP Megatron... but damn... those legs really do look quite bad. The fact that they're so skinny is one thing, but what's bothering me the most about them is the big silver trigger just kind of hanging there. I guess there was obviously no way around it, but it makes the whole lower half of him look, I dunno, unfinished or only mid-transformed. Something about the head & face is throwing me off too... just can't pinpoint what it is.

Glad to finally see a bunch of pics without any display/support stand in sight, though. It's a relief to know he won't need it.

 

I am DEFINITELY gonna get MP Megatron once it comes out. How it's gonna get there with a box art like that (it shows his gun mode. Yeah, that'll DEFINITELY pass inspection) is anyone's guess.

after getting 20th anniversary prime in a few days i'll put my collection on hold. i must save for that gun shaped work of art!

Absolutely, I thought that was very cool. I'm starting to warm up to ol skinny legs a bit these days.

Shoe Convoy is looking interesting, crazy idea though.

 

The Masterpieces look really nice. I hop they still intend of making more of them. A magnus Trailor would be nice. Rodimus Prime too for that matter.

The Nike TF's are a nice concept but I am not too excited about them. It is funny that Prime and megs are wearing Nike Sneakers in robot mode.

 

I think the head transformation is really cool. If I had one wish, it's that for SOME way to arrange it so that you could still see his face while the "back of the gun thing" (sorry, don't know my gun trivia) is on his head. That way, you could choose between having this kind of head or a more G1-toy-styled head.

Would have been a neat head gimmick considering Prime and Starscream both had one too.

 

I prefer how revoltech Megs looks (so much coolness in such a little fig), but I got to say the engineering in MP-05 is AMAZING.

as for the pictures on the box, who cares. The box will be inside a shipping box! They don't have time to open everything that goes through, its merely Xrayed. I'm one excited SOB! If some day they make gun-parts for this fella, it would rawk if they covered the inner-upper thighs and added leg bulk in addition to making his classic gun turret.

I'm a little late to "early bird" preorder the Prime/Megatron shoes and I really wanna get them. Advice?

 

I really hope he can stand on his own. I find it incredible that he can stand up on his own in that pic where he's leaning forward slightly.
