New figs are at Hot Topic. Tung lashor, Mantenna, and the Sorceress are available...(sculpted by the Four Horseman!) Pick 'em up! Tounge Lashor is HUGE! If you don't know who the Four Horseman are..chances are you have a figure sculpted by them.

P.s. Why is every smiley shown negative? (except 'the band' and the D-Jay?) What happened to being nice? I'm a nice guy...be nice!

Are these statues, or actual plastic, articulated figures?

They're great but as Chaos mentioned, they're statues so I passed them up. I was hoping that Mattel would give us upates on Hordak and the evil horde before the line got cancelled but alas, the line folded because of the stupid packing ratios...

I read somewhere that they are an outlet for 4H to work on concepts for If/When Mattel brings MOTU back online. There are forces in Mattel that really want to give it another shot, and those that are violently opposed.

The only way I can see it happen is to make a movie and let 4H do a 'Classics' line, like with Transformers.

Mr brother and I each picked up a Sorcerres today. It's a nicely done mini-statue. Have to pick up the exclusive figure from AFX this year at SDCC if they bring her along which I hope they do.

I've only been picking up 1 from each series.

    1st: Hordak
    2nd: Stinkor
    3rd: Sorceress

Oh, and along with the AFX exclusive Sorceress I can't wait for the SDCC Evil Lynn Exclusive.

So, are these statues plastic or resin or something?

My set will be at my doorstep tomorrow afternoon to join the ranks with the others already hanging on the wall. I can't wait for the next badass series with Webstor, Snake Face and Leech later this year.

Once again, only 1 character interest me and that is Webstor. He is just kickass. I love the look of the design.

This series has more flexible resin than the last two waves. It makes the figures less likely to break, and they fit in better with the toys!

As is my understanding, it's a way to get their sculpts out to the public and to help maintain fan interest. The 4H, before the line ended said they had 30 or so figures sculpted awaiting production, and we saw some of them at the 'cons, like Hordak, Sorceress, and some others.

They also made the statues rather custom friendly, I've got an articulated Hordak figure thanks to them, the Stactions come apart into nice pieces when heated up. I replaced some of the parts with ML War Machines, and got a nice SA Hordak out of it.

If I understand your post correctly, the 4H aren't working on concepts for a new line. They are slowly but surely releasing every figure from the 80's toy line. The 4H are only making these figures for the fans, and because they love M.O.T.U.. They are not really making any money off these figures. They only have the rights to sculpt characters that appeared as toys in the 80's, which means that they are going to run out of characters very soon...:thumbdown  (Prays for new Mossman sculpt)
