Okay, went grocery shopping today and on my way out there was a row of bubblegum machines. I saw one was selling "Battle Erasers", these are erasers that are shaped like melee weapons to put on your pencil. 50 cents each! I put in some coins and got a couple. Took them home and stuck them on a couple 5mm poles and made some budget Transformer melee weapons!

 

That's pretty sweet. I'll have to pay more attention from now on when my 4 year old wants crap from those junk vending machines.

By the way, where did you get those 5mm poles?
