Hmmm... Good idea I thought I would call him X-Brawn because of X-brawn profile fits with the alt mode.

    Good Idea.

    LMAO!!!

sorry, if you try to do a mud effect, or a "over used" monster truck, try to paint on cracked on the window, or use testors or games workshop brown for mud, make it look full rather than dash it on with a marker pen

    i hope i helped

Yeah, good advice but I covered the crappy part with black and left the dirt on the top part of the fender

I'll get new pics in soon

Dude, this kicks a$$! I like the huge mudding tires and I do agree, make him dirty. It can only make it better. The marker "mud" isn't bad, but you should try some paint instead. Keep up the good work!

Ok you guys, about the mud thing, I don't mean to be mean but I wanted to have (for now Brawn-X into a nice Ford F-350 show truck, but I kinda screwed it up with the mud marks but I fixed It with black paint on the fender flares. So, acually I thank you because doing the mud then going over it again made a worn look to it. I AM NOT BLAMING ANY OF YOU GUYS WHO REQUESTED THE MUD EFFECTS!
It was my fault because I acually did it. And I did it in about 5 minutes. Like some of you said its my decision. I just was'nt thinking at first. So I'm Sorry if I made you think I screwed it up bad. But just remember I'm new at this, And I fixed it so I now have litte mud and a nice truck. So,thanks!

If you think this post was a waste of time please tell me.

The easiest way to get mud would be to lay some paint down on the floor (cover it in newpaper, duh) and then run the truck through it, no?

Don't let it get to you, man. You did a great job on the custom and the marker wasn't that bad. You live and you learn. Just don't listen to any naysayers who will come down on you because it doesn't fit their expectations. It is YOUR custom, do as you see fit with it. I'm not the best painter in the world either, so it's ok if you're not perfect at it. You tried and did your best--if you're happy with it, that's all that matters.

Your post wasn't a waste of time, so don't worry. Just take the compliments and criticisms in stride and keep doing your best. Everyone had to start out somewhere, so keep that in mind as well. Keep up the great work and always remember, do what YOU want to do. You can take tips and suggestions, but in the end, it's your baby to work with.

I'll ditto the rough around the edges sentiment, but it does make that mold look ten times better with better tires. I hate the tires on it, I've been stalling on finishing a repaint with him while I've looked for some better wheels, I may have to say screw it though.

Definitely a great idea though, good job.

It looks like the only thing you're really missing are putting some putty or something to raise the corners full at the end of the truck bed's sides, to look like a proper pickup instead of a tow-truck. Definitely looking good so far though.

Damn! So looks like the tow truck took some 'roids and went berserk in the mud and bingo, you got a Longarm that is a badass. Nice.
