Was taking a massive dump earlier, and reading the latest EGM.

In their "rumor" section (which quite a few turn out true) they mentioned that we'll shortly see 'Dead Rising' hitting the ranks of X-Box 360 Platinum titles. Along with a new feature; Online Co-Op. (Much like Crackdown).

They also say that the "co-op" mode will be downloadable content for non-platinum owners.

Let's hope. I wouldn't mind killing Zombies with a partner.

is Platinum Hit's the same as Classics???
King Kong and some other titles has the "classic" name to it.

and it's nice that its getting new stuff even though it's getting the Platinum title (and not a X-Box live d/l or a new title for the regular price)

I read about this awhile ago on GameTab.com. The sites reporting it, did note it as news, and not a rumour. Should be a fun new mode to play.

I recently sold my copy of DR but for on-line co-op, I'd consider picking up the 'platinum' version.

Wow, I haven't played that game in a long time, and this would give me good reason to do so again. I'd love to do some co-op zombie slashing. Although it makes me wonder how many Megamans will be running around.

Unless capcom is finally making the game playable for people without HDTV sets, they can shove this new version up their ass.

It's perfectly playable on a non-HD screen. I did 3 playthroughs without HD.

Kindly remove that game from any posteriors you may have insterted it in to.

Nice. I'll get a 360 for the game alone. That's just icing on the cake.

Well, I've seen it played on several standard TVs, and the text is completely un-readable.

Of course you have no problems with a computer monitor. they have a much higher resolution than a standard TV set.

I'm not the only one with the complaints about the text though, it was a huge issue back when the game came out, everyone was yelling about it.

I have a 27” Sony Wega standard TV and the text is small but readable.

I'll rebuy it for the online play. Should be an even better experience.
