It's the....umm....Magic Rock of Truth and something. Buy all our sets to figure out what the heck it is.
Well, I picked up all the first series of Kreo figures, but as badly as I want the Kreons, I think I may have to start passing on these, or at least waiting for big sales on them (got all my last ones on some sort of sale. Just not as impressed by these big figures this time around.
Between these, Battleship Kreo, Lego ninjago and the upcoming Lego Monster Fighters and Mega Bloks Skylanders, it's a great time to be a brick fan.
Hey, Vortex looks pretty darn cool in both modes. That's nice. And Devastator's individual robot modes look better than the combined mode for once. That's also nice. I think I might just trip into some Kre-O with these.
This is interesting, it looks like the Kre-O designers are copying the Marvel Legends' line's Build-A-Figure concept, where you had to collect each figure to get one figure piece included with it and then collect the rest of the wave to get each piece to connect them to form a unique figure. If you look carefully at each Kre-O sets there is always one purple piece in each Kre-O set shown.
either the pic was posted after or some people didnt look at all the pics. it shows you what all the clear purple pieces make in one of the pics. a big clear purple gun by the looks of it.
I think part of the confusion is that people think the big purple gun IS one of the parts that combine, not the end product itself. It's only compounded by the fact some of the purple parts actually separate and don't look anything like they do individually when attached to the gun.
or.... I'm an idiot I honestly didn't make the connection that the one thing actually was the combined item.
The Vehicon and Autotrooper sets are bought on sight. and maybe the Devastator if it costs under 50 bucks.
The Kreons are nice, especially the Wheeljack one. Too bad the sets themselves look terrible. I mean, Wheeljack and Knock Out are both a mess.
