    eBay will definitely see some.

Personally, I get mine direct from China. And by that I mean I actually fly there to visit.

Looks like the packaging shows Ratbat/Frenzy instead of Ratbat/Ravage?

Question: What's the quality like on these cassette K.O.'s? I've been thinking about getting one of the laserbeak packs off ebay...

Awesome. My Ratbat bit the dust long ago. I do hope his chest winds up being black rather than silver.

identical to G1. Extremely high ... unlike the KO combiners.

My original Ratbat is in pristine condition, but I lost the ears a while back... Here's my chance to replace them!

Besides, it looks to have diescast, unlike the previous cassettes KO's we've seen

All the knockoff cassettes I've seen have had diecast. It must have only been the very first batch that didn't, or something.

That's actually related to one of the failings of the knockoffs. They're very high quality except for the fact that the paint on the metal parts (e.g. Laserbeak's back) tends to come off easily, often even before you take it out of the packaging.

I honestly don't know how I feel about these knockoffs. On the one hand, I like being able to get something that's so close to the original for so much less than the original costs. On the other hand, where's this going to stop? How many toys are they going to bootleg before they're finished? Seems like this could have some negative effects on the market if it keeps up.

I see no negative effects on the market EXCEPT for people who get scammed into thinking they're originals. The rest of us who know what they are can happily save money. :D

My Ratbat is missing one ear and that is the exact same thought I had.
Have you been looking in my brain?

I used to have a G1 Ratbat, but alas, he is long gone (his ears are even longer gone). Ratbat became one of my favorites thanks to the G1 Marvel Comic. I thought it was awesome that a measly cassette became LEADER OF THE DECEPTICONS! He was cunning and sneaky and a little bastard (like how he watched the current leader, Shockwave, fall through the atmosphere to his demise). Unfortunately, he was offed like the others because he wasn't a new toy, though unlike most of the others destroyed in that issue, Ratbat was just shot by Scorponok, and could probably have been repaired pretty easily....

So yeah, I love Ratbat. :D
