I was terrified at the thought it was Convoy w/ markings of Gene Simmons on his side...

 

Kinda sad that he's not diecast, but I will be getting him regardless...

 

This is the best look we've got at Melissa so far, too.

I had previously always assumed that she had shorts or a skirt on, but was blocking the view of them with her hands. Now I see that aside from the shirt, she's just wearing a pair of underwear. Don't these girls have any dignity?

I love the coloring of her eyes, though.

Then I look at the picture of Atari. I can't get around the blatant panty-shot.

As for Convoy... His colors look good. I am NOT a fan of the diecast, but I understand why others are upset about the lack of it. The mold still looks pretty cool, if a bit unlike how I'm used to seeing Prime (not a bad thing).

 

Surfboard. Beach. Swimsuit of some sort under the shirt. 'Nuff said!

 

well it looks a lot nicer then alt prime. Way more paint apps and it looks like he is completely PAINTED red, not just red plastic like the alt version. Which is GOOD. I hate that you can see the black plastic for the screws through alt primes hood.

 

  All they did was give him - chrome wheels, chrome paint on should pads - blue arms and legs with minor silver apps - logo is painte d on a lil different and gave him a surfboard and girl -- whaa la! $30+ worth of features.

I know the die-cast one exists and we'll be seein that on eBay soon enough. I wanted to get the die-cast version too.

 

Unreleased prototype? It's possible I guess, but if that were the case it won't be cheap in the slightest.

 

I didn't realise the sword actually transformed into a surf board, that I have got to admit is cool.
Maybe together with this and the more detailed paint scheme this figure might yet have a chance of reaching my shelves.

 

i really like the idea of these. i have the Alert/Ai on the way, and i plan to get all the BTA's soon after this one is released. and the kiss too, now i just want to see what kind of "girls" comes with the decepticons! or is it a girl at all? i mean what do you give megatron?

 

Either some sort of gothy chick, some little kid with silvery hair who has more power than everyone else put together, or (most likely) some poor woman abducted by Megatron so he can harness "Kiss" power.

 

The different paint apps look nice, especially the blue legs...but the concept is stupid and the surfboard weapon is beyond ******ed. No thanks, I'll just get Alt prime when I find it.

I give this a BIG FAT MEH.

Since he's all plastic, I think I'll stick to my plans of acquiring the Alt. version.

Minus the anime girl....and THAT is a GOOD THING.

 

I like the darker blue, and silver accents on BT Prime, but since he's not diecast, I'll just get Alt Prime and paint the silver accents myself.

Once again, time to break out my paints.

 

I doubt there'll be any Destrons in this line at all.

 

What Megatron? Only thing I've heard of so far is this Convoy and MAYBE a Rodimus . . .
