Most american cartoon series intros are kind bored. Or they are just cuts of the show placed to fill the opening.
So, I think that a japanese intro style would be better for transfomers. You know, something that show new scenes and short funny sequences. Like legion of superheros or ben 10. Or maybe like Full metal alchemist openings even vampire knight. Or something like the original transformers G1 intro. I dont know! What do you think?

I never saw much of a point of a very long, flashy intro, but I see what you're getting at. I Suppose they could splice in some newer footage into the intro if we were to recieve more seasons.

Meh, I'm perfectly fine with the one we have now. Cool, flashy, but short and to the point.

I'll give you that anime intro and outro sequences are usually better crafted than their counterparts over here. But the novelty wears out pretty quickly. On a DVD, I may watch an intro once and pretty much skip over the outros entirely, I just wanna get to the episode. So in that case, a 30 second spool of clips and a jingle is preferable.

Besides, a lengthy intro and outro would both be more expensive to produce and would wind up cutting into the show's run time which is... what? 20-22 minutes, max? If a crappy 30 second opening means another 1:45 of actual show content, I vote for the crappy intro.

I think they need to update it, I'm sick of seeing Cybertron Mode Megs

I actually like the way anime series update their intros with new scenes (and even completely new songs!) as they progress. All for it.

Personally I feel each new series/season of a show should have a new opening sequence done for it.

I think the current Animated intro is pretty good. Sure, the images are going by very fast and I always find it funny how in the end, all the Autobots line up to stand perfectly still (they're pretty much copies from their design sheets I guess)...but the music is awesome and stuff.

Keep it. I don't need some silly 2 minute anime intro with Engrish lyrics that make no sense...
