Felt this way for a while. There used to be a thrill to hunting but seems on-line is there way to go, even though that is also a crapshoot. Between two jobs and a newborn, I no longer have the time, energy, not patience to hunt.

Like with the Walmart G1 reissues. Would I like them? Of course. But if they sell out online and I miss out, then that's just the way it goes. I'm just happy with whatever I'm able to get these days.

Was just talking to a friend about this yesterday.
Most of us don't have the extra disposable income to shell out for regular figures, much less pay the scalped price on eBay. When others are impulsive or that afraid of missing out on a single figure, i.e. the completionists, it kills it for me. So many complain about not finding the Terrorcons, when one can easily pre-order the set from BBTS or Entertainment Earth. You might pay a dollar or two above going to Target or Walmart, but it's better than paying $10 to $20 more. Also, you can buy the Takara version of Novastar for about $30.

I'll just sit behind the computer and wait for HTS and/or Amazon thank you.

Took the scenic route to work this morning, Walmart Saddle Brook has two of Rippersnapper, Blackwing, and Slag. I'm guessing Novastar would have been the other two figures in the assortment?

EDIT: Saw the original sighting thread, and yes, this assortment includes Novastar. So looks like someone already bought the Novastars.

It's just occurred to me, this will likely be the wave of figures which will hit Amazing Savings in about six months...

 

Half the fun is going hunting. But after awhile turn computer,laptop,tablet,c.phone on and just order online. That's what I did with marvel legends, even though hasbro sells them bought they do a better job at putting there transfomers instores than there marvel legends.
