    Thanks for the scans Type-R.

As feared there is little difference between the USA and Jap releases of USA MP Starscream :(

The differences as far as I know, are that the tips of the wings and fins are slightly rounded off on the Hasbro release and the Japanese version will have the sharper tips that MP-3 got.

Yes, the tail wing tips are longer.

I also don't think the Walmart/TRU release has the Decepticon logo on the nose. The scorch marks look lighter in that pic too, but it might vary from item to item like the USA release did. I was hoping they would be removed completely.

Is that a comparison between Hasbro and Takara Landmine?

    What are the differences?

What's that sticker on MP Starscream's box... the one that looks like a blue jet?? Possible teaser advert for MP Thundercracker?

I think that's a sticker stating that the product is from TAKARA. The Japanese Movie line releases had a similar one because the name TAKARA did not appear on the packaging otherwise.

Seems the Skylynx Encore box is the same as the vintage one except a few logos here and there...

That may be the case, but as I recall, none of the Takara stickers placed on the Japanese Movie figure packaging were sporting a blue F-15 jet - it was simply the Takara logo.

I could be reading into it too much, but I find it more than coincidental that MP Thundercracker is (likley) coming soon and that this new G1 colored release of MP Starscream happens to have a picture of a blue jet stuck on the packaging. If I was to assume - which I am - I'd say it's some sort of "coming soon/next" promo sticker.

Of course I could be totally wrong, but I guess we'll have to wait and see a better picture of it.

PS: It appears that their version of G1 MP Screamer also has battle damage just like our version. I thought THE major difference of their release was the fact that it would be clean and without battle damage? That could be awfully disappointing to all the people who have pre-ordered the Takara version expecting it to be clean white as previously announced.

    Thanks for the wonderful scans!

I like the grey repaint of Landmine a lot better than the regular version, though all I can make out of the blurry text is that he'll be out in February.

And that MP Starscream... says it's the USA edition of him...?

Looks like a blue jet to me too, but the pic is too small to tell for sure.

A complete set of masterpiece seekers would rule - even if it woul be expensive!

The trans-scanning prime looks awful - I will be gladly avoiding that one.

But the new pics of revoltech rodimus and screamer look ace, can't wait for them.

And rodimus has shades? or is that a removable head thingy?

Are we getting that black Arcee over in the U.S.? I haven't seen anything about an American release at all.

What's the name of this magazine? I want to pick it up and see if I can find out why there's a colour discrepancy between the Landmine pictured and the one that I have (Takara release). I can't make out the text below it because the scan is too small - but seeing as Landmine has already been released, it seems strange to feature him in a mag with up-coming releases with no reason. Maybe there's an alternate colour version coming up.

Although, both Incinerator and the Final Stand/First Encounter sets have already been released over here...

Yeah I found that odd, too. Especially MA-19 is released already. Though the text says it's different from the overseas version they introduced last month. If there's a recolour the number shouldn't be the same, I reckon?
