I'm 99% sure that this has not been reported on so I'd thought I put it out there since it has been a pretty busy news day already.

TRU has a new item in its system

    SKN 683180
    Description 3pk Transformers Deluxe Figures
    Price $29.99
    ETA Late October

I have no idea what it could be, most likely I would guess Cybertron figures, but you never know.

    Let the guess-work commence!!

    I'd love a seeker pack.

Perhaps a set with the repainted Primal and Megatrex, and Smokescreen?

My guess is that this will be a way to clean up on the Cybertron figures and make room for Classics.

I have no idea. Though it would be majorly cool if it is a classics seeker trio. What do you think, would that be cool?? Hah, would it???

I hope it's an Optimus Prime, Nemesis Prime, and Ultra Magnus 3-pack.

Sure it makes no sense and nobody would want it but who cares?

Possibly, but selling 3 $10 figures for $29.99 is hardly a deal guaranteed to make these things fly off the shelves....

TRU is not known for it's smart Pricing practices, the only reason they did so well for years was K*B was even worse at pricing.

Gotta be Cybertron figures- I'd be surprised if it was anything else.

In my dreams it would be a Classics Insecticon 3pack.

Unlikely I know... but it'd be SO cool.

-ZacWilliam, I would also accept a Seeker pack as equally cool, though I know it's likely a vain hope.

Theres any number of things I'd like it to be (Insecticon trio, 3-packs of Constructicons, seekers, etc) but there really isn't anything else on the radar that could be coming up so soon.

They are pawning off their leftover deluxe figures! I can see it now, 9/10 of the 3-packs will contain 1 Snarl, another Snarl, and finally a Snarl with a bent up card.

a 3 pack of Classics Seekers in their G1 decos would almost make me forget that the mold is kinda crummy.

but probably some kind of end-of-Cybertron set.

Let's hope these are Classics and not old, repackaged Cybertron deluxes. At this point, there aren't three deluxes that I still need or want, especially if I'm paying $30 for them.

    :lol  :lol

It's probably some leftover Cybertron stuff. Any Classics 3pack so early would be hella cool though.

I can't imagine this would be Cybertron stuff. TRU has made boneheaded pricing decisions in the past, but they haven't really made a crazy one since the G1 reissues. All the rest of their exclusives since then have been priced quite reasonably. I just find it hard to believe that a store that carried two existing Cybertron deluxes for $10 last year would try to sell three for $30 this year. Doesn't really make sense. It could be, but I've a feeling it is something else we don't know of yet.

Since the reissues are returning, maybe it's the G1 Instecticons. One can dream, right?

Too bad it doesn't specify what line its for, like other listings we've seen. Perhaps Nevermore could pop in here and say whether or not the SKN is consistant with the Cybertron line or something else.
