After being on dial-up for the last two years I have finally went back to DSL!!!!

I went with earthlink and it looks like I'm getting a download speed of about 1.3MB/sec - nothing compared to the 8MB/s I get in my office, but then again that's a T1 line :D .

Now I just need to get a bigger hard drive!

You've had DSL since High School, but the OTHER variety. HINT: Nothing to do with internet.

$19.95 for the first 6 months, $29.99 after that - so far the speed has been very good and I'm not even using "their" DSL modem or divers (they havn't come in the mail yet!!!) some guy I work with had a few old DSL modems laying around and gave me one.

Wow, I wonder what the speed difference is between the DSL and Cable package?

I got cable instead of DSL. (decided to cancel the service, long story)

Congrats on getting DSL back, D_C.
