I never thought I would say this:

The Big Lebowski looks spot on as Stane.

I just wrote that and I still don't believe it.

I still chuckle and find it ironic that Robert Downey Jr. is Tony Stark. The movie is looking good though.

I don't doubt that it wasn't only ironic casting.

Based on his history, I'd say Downey was BORN to play Stark given their real-life parallels.

I'll say. Didn't even recongize him. And Downey JR is Stark in that picture.

I really have some excitement for this movie. A lot of the superhero movies have been a let down as of late.

I believe Iron Man and Hulk are movies directly produced by marvel(meaning they have A lot of control) Marvel took out like a billion dollar loan to do several marvel movies. So it could either be really good or be really bad. But the casting seems to fit the parts, and the armor is spot on. So I'm very hopeful. Also teaming up with Stan Winston for this and hulk was a smart move.

OH! So that's why Jeff Bridges was bald when I saw him on the new AFI's 100 Years, 100 Movies special. I almost forgot that he was in this movie.

    It's a pretty cool pic.

One Oscar winner (Paltrow) and the other three were nominees. I think that's the most impressive acting chops yet in a comic movie.

I don't think Stan Winston, Dennis Muren, or Rick Baker get the credit they deserve from the general public in terms of what they have brought to movies.

Both on getting the actors to match their characters and on award-nominee/winning actor roster...yeah. That is an awfully impressive cast for a comic film. Wow.

I have big hope for this movie given its excellent cast. I am more pumped about Iron Man than Batman's sequel at this point.
