I may be the only one that feels this way but...

I hate the new instructions! The photographs make it hard for me to see what the hell I am doing. I much prefered the old style.

I preferred the old ones too. The pictures just look bad.

I haven't even really looked at the ones that came with any of my DotM figures so I'm not sure if I'd consider them better or worse, but I didn't mind the old style..as useless as they tended to be.

You guys are nuts. Most of the time you couldn't tell just what the instructed wanted you to do with the drawn illustrations.

    These new instructions are fantastic.

Exactly. The old instructions were next to useless compared to this. Hopefully the next stop will be full color photographs like the 1984 instruction books.

I don't really care for the new instructions because on some of the toys there's so much going on with it that you can't really tell what the instructions are referring to. At least for me with the old instructions, I could tell which part of the toy they were working on.

The only word I could think of on the new instructions: Contrast.

And how they need more. A LOT more.

    Until then, I h8 them :(

    (Me earlier)

"Okay, time to open up Sentinel Prime and transform him into vehicle mode."

    *Unfolds gigantic, terrible instructions*

I don't dislike the new ones but I think I had an easier time with the CAD ones for the most part.

trying to transform leader Sentinel with those new instructions is just ridiculous. His abdomen is just a frantic messs with those pics

Yup, I like the new instructions better as well, they are much more clear. Seeing the dimensionality and shadows in the images makes it much easier to tell what's what, more so than the line drawings.

To be fair, I don't have Sentinel yet, sounds like his may be a bit more of a muddle.

They're the only part of our toy that'll remain in mint condition long after the real great war.
