Scratched tampo, definately. It's also missing the top of it's horns and has another scratch running from the eye and past the cheekline. Besides, if it was a new logo, then he would have it on the toypackaging.

I'm sure others have mentioned this, as I'm not about to sift through 4 pages on it. But that symbol looks exactly like a Decepticon symbol. If you notice the way the plastic is rounded where the symbol was applied, that would create the illusion of a "different symbol". Also, there is a large scratch or mark over the eye of the symbol--that is either a bad paintjob/stamp or you forgot to mention or show that mark in your drawing over it.

I believe it's the same Decepticon symbol, but you're seeing it at an extreme angle, on rounded plastic.

Isn't the fact that we've seen in-package shots of this figure, with a DECEPTICON logo on the box confirm that he's a Decepticon, and not part of some new faction? The image on the packet wasn't any different.

 

it's a decepticon symbol with a crumby paint app. it's too small/shitty to tell if it's actually a different symbol.
