The mold was created around 1960? That seems to be a little inaccurate.
It wasn't originally in the Transformers line most designs weren't, some where from Diaclone and other lines
Yes, many were from other lines. I just question the accuracy that this mold was around for 25 years before '84/'85.
Yeah I agree man. Mid-70's Tops. No way 60's.
Then again...It WAS an age where they had some righteous 12 Inch Gi Joes...
It's assumed that the article is poorly phrased (or poorly translated). Supposedly, the "quarter of a century" is from today, not from when the TF line came out in 1984.
Well I never had a G1 shockwave and I would rather have a Masterpiece version anyways. I would still like to get the Titanium mold as well.
Fuckin sucks. Big time. Bring on the KO... o wait, nevermind.
well that's awesome, now i can still sell shockwave at a premium does anyone need a mint shockwave? PM me for details. or just goto my collection site to see my arsenal.
Yeah, this is the source in Japanese;
Yahoo!??? - ???????????????????????
Just a translation error. The author (who claims to have asked those questions at the event) also thinks Toyco staff he interviewed hinted Hasbro owns the right of the mould. But there's no confirmation, his impression only.
edit; the link shows up funny
