Nothing too new except we get to see the side of the package, which oddly enough has an Autobot symbol molded in rather than a Decepticon...

Too bad the actual toy doesn't look anything like what's on the packaging...

Likely because they are using the same packaing mold for both factions then. Nice find.

Perhaps the other side of the packaging has a Decepticon symbol? And the Decepticon symbol looks pretty evil in red. I'm lopoking forward to these two as well...especially considering the lack of new product between now and May.

Love the packaging, neutral on the toys, shame about the Autobot logo on a Decepticon toy. Ah well.

    It doesn't?
It looks the same to me.

Are you talking about the image enhancement to bring out the details?
Packaging is advertising and thus designed to sell the toy.

They're going to be in the movie, after a fashion. This isn't their main form, look at the name, think what it meant in Beast Wars, and that's what they'll be in the film.

I like the general concept Optimus Prime and Starscream being meteorites yet having truck and jet like qualities. Nice!

Does anybody know when these hit store shelves???

My question is: what's up with the red Decep. insignia in the background? I want purple, damn it!

It's because they are going to release it before the movie. Sometimes companies do that, Star Wars did something similar. By the way did anyone notice that on the bottom of the package there's a Armada/Energon/Cybertron style Transformer logo with something under were it says Transformers.

Because it's a movie preview toy. This and the Optimus Prime are coming out a month before the rest of the toys, similar to what Hasbro has done with Star Wars lines in the past.

Not sure about Rockscream's hairdryer gun, but then again I'm not really a fan of gun accessories. This is just a weird, but cool-looking toy. Definitely NOT Starscream, but a cool robot nonetheless. I can't fault the toy for being misnamed. I haven't seen much except standing poses, but if he's super-poseable, he could be a really nice addition to my collection. Prime looks good, too. I think the only problem I have with these two is that there aren't enough paint applications. They made up for it a bit with quasi-metallic plastic injection, but I'll probably end up customizing them with more detail.

The toys might end up being the best part of the movie. The movie itself? Eh... wrong thread...

Agreed. I still gotta find myself an Armada Starscream. I wish they would make a plastic version of the 6" Titanium Starscream coming out. I always liked the original seekers Cybertron mode.
