Yeah, I like BBTS and got in on the insecticons at their original price. I think they pulled the same shit with Shadow Commander just recently, where his price jumped shortly before he sold out. If this is going to be SOP for them, I can definitely take my business elsewhere for Hercules 3-6.

 

I am calling major BS on this one. That is the same thing they said for Thundershed. So basically twice they were screwed by Fansproject, mean while TF Source had no problems. Makes no sense.

Not sure what happen with BBTS but they are turning shittier and shittier with their cost and their practices.

You know what I am definately looking for a new vendor for this stuff. I am tired of both TFSource and BBTS. The only reason I stick with them is cause they get so much variety of stuff in including head robots and stuff like that.

I see business in the future for Captured Prey and AcesToyStore.

 

These guys are tempting.

 

Unfortunately, any service that has a big grasp on a providing that service ends up being shitty and shady. It's always the outcome.

I agree with some of the above posts about BBTS. I use them as my primary vendor, and haven't had a problem with them. Sure they charge more for some toys, but I don't mind for certain ones due to the fact of not having to hunt them down.

But this really just got to me. I haven't ordered a FP Insecticon yet, but was planning to add all 3 to a PoL when Backfiery was released. Not anymore. Heading the TFSource route on these. I'm assuming TFSource will get the last one in sooner anyway.

I went with RobotKingdom for my Herc purchases. Shipping might be longer, but the price is under $100 with shipping.

 

I decided to switch up my Herc ordering with Chimungmung I think it's under $90 total for Heavy labor.

 

What I like about aces toys and captured prey is that they both frequent this site and are easy to get a hold of. And with more business, those little guys are sure to grow and provide better service. Megatoyfan sounds like a neat place too.

I'm just wondering how it relates to their actual scale. I know the PE Reflector and various tapes seem to scale pretty good. i find all of these 3rd party figs would look awesome as a single Decepticon diorama so I'm just trying to figure out what will work and won't.

 

personally, i think the Insecticons will look great...they'll be a bit bigger than the Reflector guys...

 

I still like BBTS. PoL and being able to easily cancel stuff for store credit makes me like it, despite the price increases. I always try to get something as soon as I see it anyway, so price increasing after a certain period of time is no problem. You don't even need to pay until the item actually comes out, so if you use a single credit card it's not like there's a reason to wait before pre-ordering.

Having the first two already, I cannot wait for Backfiery to complete the trio. Hands down the BEST representation of the Insecticons by third party.

 

I love these..but wasnt there a train set that rep the insecticons?....as far as price hike, i think it has something with all the overstock stufff they cant unload....i mean its 3 dollars, but still its 3 dollars...

 

It's the Hearts of Steel one where the three combine into some kind of armored train car. They're customs though last I heard, not actually an upcoming 3rd party product.
