this looks like a ko in pic #4 the plastic looks seet through lol.

 

I just traded mine away too. If it's in a three pack where I get Cyclonus for the first time i'm all in.

I'm wondering if this is a KO, the KO maker is trying to cash in on the upcoming Protector kit?

 

Yeah, my money's on this being a KO in order to cash-in on the upcoming FP's RP trailer/armour...

 

Red and yellow plastics have translucency issues. They're most likely to let light through.

Classics and Henkei Rodimus are a deeper red, so they don't have that problem. But the lighter red plastic on this one isn't so fortunate.

I'm pretty sure this is real. There's too much attention paid to the paint apps and colour choices to match the animation colours, details that would be lost to the average KO company.

 

For supposedly being big on details, they sure missed big on those chest flames. They look horrible.

Again, I call KO.

I sincerely hope this is just a KO because that looks awful. I think the people that missed out the first time should at least get something that looks better than that. Hopefully the # pack will come out and has a decent figure in it.

Thank Primus I got the first release when it came out.....

 

Hopefully, it's real, it's an early test shot, and the issues with the plastic have since been resolved.

..otherwise, this would require an extensive repaint.

 

Meh.. I'll take it. My original Classics Rodimus is up on ebay. Its not that great of a mold. I'd rather make some money on my old one and get this cheap.

 

That's a terrible looking KO. Plastic looks like it'll break if looked at too hard.

God, I hope not. I'm all for cartoon accuracy, but the quality on that looks pitiful.

Anime deco is interesting but - I can see this being useful for putting inside the protector Armor if the colors don't clash to much.

I'm not a fan of the opaque windows though.

 

Why do we need another one when we have the Protector coming

 

This will be a test shot to see how the toy looks in that type of plastic which has the same hue that Hot Rod had in the movie

 

Because all Protector comes with is add on parts (?)
