New Pictures of Universe 2.0 Dinobot, Bruticus, Overload and Leo Prime - Transformers News
The more I see Dinobot, the more I want him
Overload is very green. I'm kinda liking it. Don't know how he'll go with the skyblast repaint though.
Within the chassis of Dinobot beats
the spark of a warrior. Victory won with
honor is the highest aim of which he has
ever aspired. It is an aim that seems more
and more remote, the longer he spends under
the command of Megatron. Duplicity is not
the warriors way. As the battle on this
strange, primitive world rages, it seems to
Dinobot that true honor may come only through the Maximal way.
Damn, I'm not even a Beast Wars fan...but his character intrigues me and I think I might pick him up.
Want them all, glad to see that Bruticus is labeled as an RID series figure, just wish they used the RID logo like they did with the Beast Wars figures.
Probably gonna get overload..
Repaint repaint repaint...
This line shouldn't be called Classic 2.0 but Cybertron repainted!
They originally said that all Voyagers in the Universe line would be repaints, but I suppose since Inferno is a new mold, Bruticus took the repaint slot.
I still think they should've done Flak instead of Overload.
I'm going to be skipping Overload and Bruticus, but I love the Dinobot and Leo Prime! Leo Prime looks so weird in those colors, but something tells me that he will look awesome on my shelf!
I like how Dinobot can switch from Maximal to Predacon, a real nice touch.
My brain still can't handle the concept of robots turning into animalish things. Passing on all the Beast Wars type stuff.
Overload looks good. Love the colors on him.
Probably who he's supposed to be. They may just have had a tough time trying to retrademark 'Flak' and just decided to go with the already trademarked 'Overload'.
And is it just me, or have there been more and more Micromaster homages this past year than any before? (Big Daddy, Dropshot, Tread Bolt and now possibly Flak/Overload.)
Recently there's been a number of Transformers ,who are not decepticons, being sold with he Decepticon logo on the box/card. Wonder why this is?
The should have called that Scourge repaint Razorclaw. Im going to get it because I lost out last time because im too cheap.
Four year olds and parents might be put off by the Predacon logo. The Predacon logo in on the bottom of the packaging though.
Dude, you wanna see this guy at his most bad assery as well as hear some of the best writing in cartoon history? Watch "Code of a Hero". That episode alone is enough to respect this toy!
I don't know who the hell is Dinobot, but I'll find out soon enough on youtube.
He is awesome.
Yeah, the two predacons here are identified as such in their bios.
Although I haven't read Universe Unicron's bio so I don't know if they talk about his faction(or lack there off).
There's no mention of a faction - his bio implies that he's a force unto itself.
And yeah - it strikes me that the Autobot/Decepticon symbol is for audiences who didn't grow up with Beast Wars to know who are the good and bad robots at a glance. Not a bad idea branding-wise.
EDIT: Oh, and who writes the bios for figures nowadays? Forest Lee? As he does a good job on them.
