Nice, but like Drift, not nice enough to replace my Generations version. More money for other stuff.

Nuh-uh. The G1 colours only work for G1 accuracy. If the toy is based on the IDW design, it's better to stick with that palette.

I think it looks pretty nice. Not 2-3x the price of Generations nice, but if they were both on the shelf at the same price I'd go with this one.

Yeah, I'd say Hasbro wins this round. The pale white face and red knees look much better in my opinion. These silver hips don't do it for me either.

I usually prefer Takara's decos, but Hasbro wins this one.

Yep, not really feeling that deco with the darker head.

I too prefer the Generations one.

Even if a large amount of them seem to have spotty paint jobs.

I like Hasbro's more too. Takara has gone for a color scheme similar to the ones on the cover of Spotlight Blurr, giving him a light metallic blue chest and waist.

Surprise, surprise, I happen to dig TakTomy's color scheme on Blurr. I prefer the lighter blue head on the Hasbro version though.

Since, I don't have this mold, is it possible to do a head swap? Is it on a ball joint?

Actually it's one of the few heads that isn't balljointed... it is on a pivoting column with a pin to allow for upward rotation of the head. But I'm sure with some disassembly you could probably still do a head swap.

Once again, no need to spend any extra cash that could actually go to a another figure. :D

Its nice that the tables seem to have turned in favor of Hasbro's Deco's since Animated. Buying Hasbro Releases then having to Bite on Takara's superior paintjobs in the past burned a bit of a hole in my wallet. I have a feeling Tracks is going to be the only one I am going to want the United version of.
