They should have done a better job with the positioning of that landing gear.

 

If you look, all of the paint apps have not been applied to this test shot. The base doesn't have his name and the Autobot symbol isn't painte. His chest doesn't have the 'bot symbol, or the missile racks either. I'm thinking this is a very early, not fully painted test shot.

 

I certainly hope so, because right now its just not doing anything for me.

 

Nice!....but what a difference compare to the fully painted pictured version shown by Hasbro.Missing the chest missiles,autobot symbols on the wings/chest,dirt marks on the vents and body..and it was slightly a bone color not so white.Anyway...cant wait for it....

 

Pass. Ugly head, skinny flimsy mold. Looks too Go-botish. Just paint him grey and call him Leader 1.

 

Yeah.... I have to agree with that...... Indeed it does seem to be in a odd spot...almost like he's exposing himself.....but with all hanging out landing gear aside... I'm diggin' the fig in both modes, more so in vehicle. he could use a little more paint apps and i sure there will be when he is release to cover up those plastic eye sores.

 

Very underwhelming compared to when I first saw it.

 

Doh!!! Viv was JUST at that guy's store in Shanghai... I'm gonna try and get her to go back and see if she can make an offer for it even though it will be put on eBay...

 

I agree the photos are not impressing me yet; but I think the figure will look better in real life and in size comparison to other TF's (don't forget these guys are pretty small)...

 

Aside from the lack of paint, the actual physical details are nice. They really went all out molding this guy. If he's any indication, then Titaniums should be a definite "WOW" line.

BTW...anyone see Prime's transformation on Hasbro's official website? Seems to be a tad more intricate than I originally thought. That plus the detail....joygasm.

 

He's a goofy looking little bastard. I sure hope it's transformed wrong or something.

 

I love it... Why??? Because he's not a Macross rip off like the G1 version was... This is MUCH closer to the cartoon version which is why it's fricken awesome to me...

 

I agree with many of my fellow posters on this one he's not exactly as awesome as I had originally thought.
That being said, I still like him a lot, I just dont love him as much as I thought I did.
And I'm still buying him  

 

This is much more than photo-doctoring compaired to the original shot at BBTS. There's about 10,000 paint apps just plain missing. Especially noticable are the chest apps and the "dirt" coming out of the backpack vents.

The base/stand is missing all of the paint apps.



I hope this new set of photos is not the full-painted version.

Still, the strength of the mold and design show through, and I will be getting it.

 

odd that the action seems to have been pulled but the classics that have been popping up stayed on.

 

Does it look like this critter is missing true knees?

It appeas that his legs have ball joints at the knee, but because of the die-cast, the knee joint is restricted from moving more than maybe 5-10 degrees in any direction.

That's about the only disappointment for me, 20 bucks should afford true knees.

WOW, Looks like night and day. The wings on the jet pack are flipped wrong, i wonder if the have the autobot symbol on the other side. Looks lame with out the air brush and panel-lines. And no paint on the face? wackt.

 

The final product will be somewhere between these two. Looks great. Buying them all so far.

 

Fully painted he'll look great.
