Actually, isn't this Armada Starscream's color scheme?

I just hope the final version isn't wearing lipstick. What the frell is that about?

 

I didn't watch/buy anything after BW and 2 RiD episodes so I was not familiar with how SS looked in thm..  

 

Starscream is one animated toy is just plain don't like. Particularly the jet mode looks horrific. I'm not saying I'm not getting it, I just need to take a look at it in person first.

 

Blows the movie Starscream out of the water!! I believe the animated toys will continue to sell just as strong as the movie items...if not better.

 

I can't decide if I like the colors or not.

Pretty neat. Kinda fat and clunky in jet mode. Reminds me a lot of movie screamer.

Why are his tail-fins on backwards?

 

Stubby jet noses and arms just draped on the side of jetformers make me sad.

Iunno. Maybe I'll like it. Hard to say from just a few pics.

I hated Beast Wars with a passion until I saw season 2, then I was out looking for any figure featured on the show I could get my hands on.

 

I refuse to start anything new next year, Universe is Classics continued so that's ok, but Animated is not gracing my shelves at all... Except maybe Blackarachnia because I have this undisciplined urge to buy all Female Transformers in toy form.

That being said, I don't hate the toys, I just need to break off with every new toyline being produced considering my bigger desire to complete what I already started. Maybe next year I'll actually be able to save money rather than piss it away every month.

 

I'm not sold on the face, but the rest is full of win.

Ok, someone please tell me why Starscream has the coloring of Thundercrcker. I remember something in a previous series where he changed but please humor me.

 

Looks ok, looked better at Comicon though, he didn't have the red open-mouth there.

Also, for those worried about this look, this is his Cybertronian mode, we still have an earth mode that you may like.

 

I think it looks nice but the jet mode is pretty poor. Designers need to learn that if you turn the toy from anything other than a plan view, it still needs to look good. Otherwise I give it an 8 out of 10.
To me it looks much better than the movie version and the robot mode proportions (while skinny legged) are great. Bring on the remaining 6 repaints.

 

That's an open, smirking mouth filled in with red for some reason. The one shown by Hasbro before had it in black, making it more obvious it was an open mouth.

 

He looks like he's made out of rubbery plastic. That could be a good thing, or a bad thing.

Definite buy, as with the rest of the line.

 

Is he still a jet in his earth mode? This is news to me!

 

I like it, but it looks more like Thundercracker to me.
