I just can't get into this thing. It looks like some novelty thing, not official TF merch. The transformation leaves the bot mode very lacking and the watch mode is filled with lines.

Yeah, it looks pretty cool but for 300 dollars that's a bit much.

looks like something you could win from one of those 50 cent machines...the ones outside like a walmart or something that you put your change in and a toy drops down inside one of those plastic bubble things

It's... kind of neat in a novelty sort of way, but... not $200 neat.

I mean, it's a BIG plastic watch, with a basic readout, and a plastic toy robot, with a very VERY basic transformation, weird proportions... and it's $200?

Not even CLOSE to $200 neat. Even if it is metal.

Not when you've got a transforming MP3 player for $60-$80, that turns into an iconic character.

There wasn't any real thought or effort that went into this. It's a rectangle with arms and legs that folds up into a slightly larger rectangle that plugs into a wristband.

    Big, BIG pass.

WOW! Just what I always wanted!!!

    ...NOT!

This is actually nothing new. In the early '80's there were transforming watches which looked better than this thing. Hmmm...I should look for mine and review it, perhaps...?

    Actually u are right
I remember picking one up on a market stall when I was a kid in the mid 80's
    think it cost about £10
Was pretty much a similar kind of thing
Except the robot fitted into a clip on the strap instead of plugging onto it

Was great as kid and for a cheap price

But come on, 25 years later and this is all they can come up with
A crap robot and a crap watch?

What a spectacularly boring design. Not worth a fraction of the price IMO.

I had a 10 dollar transforming watch when I was a kid that had a built in FM radio. Why does this new thing suck so bad.

Hey, look on the bright side. Maybe the fact that almost no one wants them will cause their prices to be slashed big-time to a point where we might be able to justify purchasing them.
