I hope they do a repaint of this that works with Onslught, maybe another cobra comander themed one or soemthing, not that fussed about hardhead and thanks to FP I have a good enough set of combaticons so U Onslught could do with some thing to ake him shelf worthy again.

Yayzors! Now what news do we have about the Whirl/Bludgeon set?

 

I don't have Hardhead or Onslaught, so many others can clarify one point for me: If the white gun is perched over Hardhead's shoulder, where do the turret's guns go? Do they have to be removed?

 

I believe that you can actually keep them up or rotate them down. If you look at the pics on BBTS you can see that they are positioned up. So no interference.  

I picked up Hardhead when he first came out, because I thought he was a stunning repaint from Onslaught. This kit has made him surpass that in so many ways. I also do wish that he did have the comic/cartoon face, however, the current sculpt looks fantastic.

I really can't wait to get mine. Venksta's Skyfall upgrade and this have made having these repaints worthwhile.

 

Yes, this is the photographer using my friend's acct. Here is a crap picture to show that it can.

 

The turret guns point up and the wonder block goes in between them. The main cannon plugs into the forward most hole on the right side. Otherwise the turret must be rotated 90 degrees.

The turret has a stop to prevent the turret from rotating more than 90 degrees left or right of the forward position. however if you continue to rotate with slow steady pressure you can overcome this stop and it will clear and rotate 180 to point backwards.

 

I wished I picked it up when it was in Wallmart.

 

Wow, that looks great; glad I pre-ordered this a long time ago and got TFU 2.0 Hardhead back when it was released at retail.

Those three Wal-Mart figures were great for me! I got them all, not expecting to turn Hardhead into a Headmaster, Skyfalljack having a G2 head, and Powerglide being Powerglide, while Reprolabels turned my gray PG into Hot House!

Definately lookin forward to this. I love Hardhead and after I heard about this upgrade I grabbed the Universe one.

 

Not a big fan of the third-party Headmasters, but the extras on this set make it a must... I love how it really sets Hardhead apart from the Universe Onslaught mold. Win.

 

Well, this is only the second third party HM item I can think of besides HeadRobots' Cobra. That was/is a solid 3rd party HM in its own right.

As for HeadRobots' latest offering, this looks like pure win. I think this upgrade set is going to be a homerun for them.

 

Wow really impressive I know the price for hard head will be high but it's the first classics or universe headmaster it's worth it
