I like it. Now would I pay that much to get it? Probably not but still cool.

What, you were expecting transparent die cast? :p

This looks... weird. Really, really weird. The car mode looks nice, but the robot mode is just... weird.

Glad I preordered this one! He will be mine. Now I just have to bite the bullet and buy a BT17

Cool I think most of the parts that are not transparent are made die cast.
The car mode looks amazing transparent.

Being a bit of a BT/Kiss Completest I sort feel obliged to buy this, I don't think I will tho. It looks pretty cool and its very apt for Mirage, but the reason I buy BT/Kiss over alts is for the glossy high quality pant aps, this has none of that, plus I already have Alt Mirage and Kiss Hot Rodimus. Nice figure but with no paint and an eHobnby price tag I'll pass.

    Yours AK

Doesn't look much like what I was thinking, but still look really cool! I just looked at BBTS price and if it's the average price to get it, guess I won't get my hand on one.

You think the hands and feet are metal? Hmm....I don't see it.

After thinking about it, the translucent idea overrides my need to diecast on this one.

I like it. I would not want this figure to be fully transparent like everything including tires as it will make the figure so cheap and unfinished. Plus if you really want an invisible version of Mirage then you might as well buy an emply Alternators Mirage box and pretend that Mirage is there - just invisible!

I'm sure they would've if they could've, but I'd imagine that some pieces aren't clear for structural integrity.

I'm not that excited. Cool idea, but eh. Probably passing.

The head is very cool on it's on but as a whole I think that looks kind of bad :(  I too was hoping it'd be more in the style of the 'clear' Sonic Convoy and such, same colors but just translucent, not a weird match of totally clear vs. solid parts. I understand why it's done the way it is, to illustrate his whole invisibility power and all, but I don't know, the execution just doesn't look that cool.

I wasn't sure whether we'd get this or translucent colored but I think either way works well..... clear lends itself better to "invisibility" though so this is really more in the spirit of Mirage and his ability.

I'm a little confused by the relatively strong use of black plastic... I'm sure they opted for some solid color due to machining, sculpting, and structural strength limitations, especially as this is an Alt with very intricate details such. Still, the black really stands out.... white plastic would have pulled off the illusion a little better. Hmm, oh well. I'm still keeping my preorder. I think it looks nifty.

Ahhh, so that's the direction they decided to go. Not bad. Reminds me of my clear Car Bros. set I picked up around 2000.

I like it, and I so want it now. Its a strange move of BT, you would think BT is going to end at Black Convoy, but maybe that only means the end of diecast.

Yeah I agree. White plastic on the solid color parts probably would've given a better illusion of invisibility.

The white plastic would have made it look more ''invisible'' but the black brings out all the detail in alt mode it amazes me.
