    But right now it looks like a game render to me, and not from ILM.

    that's better.. but why am I not convinced this is from DD or ILM? The game renders these days are quite close to movie renders.

    Man, i wasnt really excited about the character design earlier but seeing this really changes my mind abot the character! He looks amazing and i cant wait to see him in action.

    I like everything but the face....

    And i have to slightly agree that there isnt anything particularly new in his aesthetics....looks like most of the other more anthropomorphised bots already seen....if anything ROTF was the departure with its weirder looking bots.

    I think SP is just a refining of the movie-tf look.

    Interesting to see he has a cape of sorts - makes him look like Alpha Trion a bit.

    Somebody just politely and candidly answered your question and yet you still feel the need to snark at them? Charming.

    And I'd have to disagree with you. This is by FAR the most 'human' looking of all the 'bots we've seen so far and in that sense relates very much to both how the Transformers were deliberately anthropomorphised for the comic and the cartoon. The head is just the most obvious demonstration of this.

    Those in love with what I find to be a more...er...'difficult' asthetic will still have Shockwave to look forward to.
