Thanks for the "nice find"-comments, fellas (and ladies too   ).  

I like the redesigns that Optimus and 'Bee are sporting. They're still undeniably "Optimus" and "Bumblebee", yet from a design standpoint, a great deal has been changed. I can't wait to see how they'll look in the film.

And not to seem greedy, but does this mean that I get/share a news credit? I mean, only if this constitutes as being newsworthy. If not, no worries. Sorry. I'll get off my high horse now. *falls off his loyal steed*

 

I really like the redesign Bee got for this movie. Looks like he can realistically handle some combat now, lol. I'm hoping they retool the HA mold to better match his DotM appearance, as none of the Deluxes are really doing it for me just yet, and I'm not interested in a Leader-class sized Bee.

 

Yeah, the racing stripes, ground effects, and spoiler are all carbon fiber.

That's so sweet that they put the carbon fiber detailing on Bumblebee! I can't wait to see the film!

 

Am I the only one that kinda likes how he looks a tad more pudgy than in the previous two movies?

 

You're not the only one. I like some bulk to my 'Bee. Granted, I still want him to retain that 'sleek and styled' look, but still, he needs some presence, and it looks like he got some. The first two films presented more of a younger, inexperienced, "smaller" character, while DotM seems to have wanted to bulk up and present a more physically imposing, "muscular" 'bot.

I am getting the leader class version. I'm hoping it will fly as a larger HA figure. But a new and improved HA would be perfect.

Be looks awesome. Now if I could just see some in-hand comparisons of the Takara Leader Bee versus the Hasbro.

I'm really on the fence on whether or not it is worth it to wait for the Tak releases, or just custom paint Hasbo ones myself.

The top wings could just be hidden from the angle he's standing in - what I'm more impressed with is that his lower wings actually match the weird design they've given the Dual Model Kit (also, the Dual Model Kit appears to be AMAZINGLY accurate too!):




Personally, I'm happy Nitro BB (likely the only TF I can afford to get with my saving for my wedding) is the only toy that has an accurate blaster!

totally missed that - looks like the promotional campaign is ramping up quick.

You know what I love about this? The movie name is nowhere to be found on this. I love that they're playing up the strength of the franchise.

 

I didn't think it'd be possible, but.....they look even more realistic. If this don't win an award for best CGI, then I have lost faith in humanity.
