    Ebay:
A new auction for the Damaged Transformers Movie Bumblebee Concept Camaro has surfaced on the Chinese Auction site Taobao.com.

This seems to be the same item that is packaged in the Target exclusive "Evolution of a Hero" 2-pack, but the image in this auction gives us a shot of the car by itself and it's undercarriage.

To see the auction click here.

Man, that's WAY better than the paint apps on the '70s version.

    If you're into damage.

I don't like when they do "battle damage" figures. All they do is add some shaded black and greys and that's it. They should have parts and pieces missing, real holes. Broken out glass too would be cool. But then I guess you run the risk of having sharp edges, kids may get cut. Still, could be a little more detail.

Digging the battle damage, especially the silver "under-metal" highlights.

They damaged it better on this one, on the '77 version it was just random dots of black.

I can't beleieve there have been all these different versions of Bumblebee and not a single one has the battle mode helmet.

Well, that's essentially what they're doing with Final Battle Jazz... it's an actual remold, with molded-in burns and chunks missing. They could have gone even more extreme with it, still, but it's more similar to what you're suggesting.

As for BB here, the damage does look pretty nice.... I wasn't planning on picking up this version, but if I see it in a store, I might give in. I can set it up as a diorama on the back of Longarm. :)

They need to pack in a mini Megan Fox figure. This way, kids can make the connection on how a perfectly good car got banged up so quickly.

I'm starting to despise those dumb battle damage decos. I want my toys to be bright and shiny, not all beat up straight from the box.

Best battle damage paint job so far. I think the front could be better though because the battle damage abruptly stops from one piece of plastic to the other.

I also wish they would have given him the battle mode head. Oh well, it is still a cool figure!

What? I do! The faceplate is boring, and he only uses it twice!

I'm sculpting a new face, just hang on.

I'm so separating the upper body from the legs, to mount onto the back of the tow truck.

Sweet battle damage, but I like to play with the toys, so mine get that way pretty soon without the need to pay up front for it...

Seeing the original '74 BB had battle damage they should have made this version clean. That way there would have at least been something different with both figs compared to their single releases.

...I like it better without the 'damage', myself.
