Mods please move this if it has already been created. I just was stumbling across my facebook page and saw this image of what looks like an Ark playset made by iGear.

It's someone's custom that used the iGear base inside. An awesome custom, but a custom nonetheless.

ok damn I thought it was an actual playset that they were making, I knew of the original playset they had back in the day but I didn't know if this was a custom or not its just too damn good to look like a custom.

If that were real it would be ridiculously expensive. It's huge! (that's what she said)

It's a work of art...but damned if it wouldn't take up half a room at least.

I'd love to see someone make an Axalon. For one thing, it has a much clearer layout and is consistent in it's portrayal with iconic and memorable locations and props. Plus it looks cooler than just random orange tech without no defined layout or accurate placement.

    lmao
well just think of all those GI JOE collectors who have to have the USS FLAGG aircraft carrier that this is almost over 6 feet long and just massive all together. I personally think if they only made limited numbers of this I believe a few hardcore fans would love to buy this give or take the pricetag of the item.

well technically they are using part of the iGear base display inside the ark.

No doubt. The kid in me would love to have something like this for my autobots instead of a bland, generic shelf like everyone else, whereas the adult in me says it's impractical. Sometimes I hate that adult.

lol I constantly have to battle with that side of myself all the time, and I try to argue that my purchases are valid with memories, sometimes it feels good to not grow up but that can only be said about so much

That would make for an awesome toy store display. If only I had won that recent Lotto jackpot. XD

A shame that iGear won't re-release the Ark playset though, or make the Nemesis version.

Amazing custom piece... Any more pics of it anywhere?

I think there's scope for an Ark base set somewhere between this custom and iGear's playset. IGear's consoles are nice, but the wall sections are not too great, and it has no sense of being an actual spaceship interior (a section with windows such as at the front of the custom Ark would help). Scale is always going to be a problem though I guess... This custom, huge as it is, is probably on the small side even just for Classics.
