Am I the only one who is getting a total kick out of the new "More Than Meets the Eye," series? I laugh out loud several times during every book. It really does seem like the Transformers comic line at IDW has taken a turn for the better.

Nope you're not. It seems quite unanimous around the TF community that MTMTE is the best thing to happen to TF comics in a long time. You can see the general reactions from the threads below.

I'm really digging MTMTE, but I wish I liked RiD better, for what it's worth. I still think Roberts would have been better served writing tohe political intrigue on Cybertron book, but he's very adept at the kind of old Justice League International style.

I am delighted with the current output and can't recommend it enough to anyone who is on the fence about getting back into the comic.

I grew up with the Marvel UK comics. They were 'The Transformers' to me, and these have the same sense of excitement and humour as they did, updated for a slightly more mature market.

I know idw has made some mistakes in the past, but they hitting it out of the park with both series at the moment.

Get on board before it's too late! You won't regret it.

And one of teh best things to happen to TFs period.

MTMTE is fantastic. I am completely glued to the book from start to finish each issue. I could not be happier with the series. It's nailing every fundamental goal a good story should. Each issue has character, personality, world building, life, intrigue, and just a strong plot and individuals it portrays. It's easily some of the best fiction Transformers has seen in a while.
