I really wish that the THS-02 Convoy was a full-size figure. That is an incredible piece, but at that scale it loses so much of its impact.
I was just about to say that. It looks like someone took a knife and went to town on his torso. THS Convoy doesn't look bad to me, I just know if I do buy him, his alt mode won't see the light of day. Pretty sweet robot mode though. The picture of Laser Ultra Magnus makes him look a LOT better than the early photoshops we saw. Might have to check him out.
Prime and Magnus look really nice. Still wish Laser Prime had his G1 colours (oh, well there's always Reprolabels...). I'm glad I never bought the Robot Master Prime; fortunately, I pre-ordered the Hybrid Prime.
LOL! I'm somewhat surprised by how small THS-02 is. Yeah, I saw the comparission pics with G1 Prime a while ago, but still I'd assumed he was taller than RM Convoy. Don't know why. Laser Magnus is a must! I'm more and more inclined NOT to buy Laser Prime's reissue, but Magnus is a must. -airfox
If Hasbro holds to their usual modicum of making oodles of repaints, then I would say there's a strong possibility.
I really like THS Convoy, but I just can't justify paying that much for something so tiny RM Convoy can beat him up and steal his lunch money...
I still don't like Mighty Mouse, especially at that $40 price. I'm liking the absence of the sticker on Battle Convoy's trailer. I hope it's still included. I want the sticker, because I like fire. It's just a little too cheesy, and the chrome trailer looks too nice to cover up.
