Saw a better pic of Henkei Red Alert in the Singapore sightings thread, stumbled across E-hobby's website and saw Smokescreen as well, so i thought i should share:

Smokescreen rocks, however

 

Smokescreen looks way better then his Universe counterpart. RedAlert turned out pretty good.

Red Alert doesn't do much for me, but I never really cared about the character to begin with.

Now show us Henkei Dinobot already!!  

 

Oh wow they both look great. Red Alert was a must anyway but now I may get Smokescreen too.

 

Smokes looks soooo much better. The Hasbro counter part has the car racing number painted on like a bad kit bash.

As for Red Alert, I'm not sure yet.

Oh man, Red Alert is so preordered. He looks great.

This leads me to wonder two things: what will Universe Red Alert look like, and will this stop people saying "Red Alert will probably be a Botcon exclusive"?

 

Smokescreen looks so much better than Hasbro's. I may have to repaint Uni Smokes to look more like that.

 

Red Alert will be mine if we don't get a domestic one.

 

These are likely hand painted samples, so the head is that color (and not Photoshopped).

I think both look so awesome! I think Smokescreen looks slightly better then Red Alert, but I'm more excited about Red Alert for some reason. Perhaps because we finally get a cartoon accurate version.

I'm totally sold on both. Boy, Takara is really hitting these out of the park in my opinion. I've never really bought Japanese transformers before, but the Henkei line has been an eye-opener to me.

 

Both of these figures look awesome!!!!! 

 

Hey Smkscrn GT, since he's your namesake, I'll ask you: Which head do you like better for Smokescreen? His Alternators head, or the Universe one? Personally, I think that the Alternators head felt more like his G1 incarnation, with the almost motorcycle helmet-like chinstrap area. It was also more distinctive, since they remolded it for the other characters who used the mold.

I may have to give Henkei Smokescreen a chinstrap.
