This was pretty much my first thought as well.

Will be kind of disappointing if we're not getting a RID Scourge. It's the first black Prime reapint that people actually wanted.

 

Overkill was a combiner now? That's a new one on me.  

I can kinda see Overload, but it definitely looks more like Motormaster (the toy head, not the face-in-a-box 'toon head) to me.

I don't see why there's all the whinging about it not being Scourge/Magnus etc, as they don't need a new head, and it was nigh-inevitable that there would be one for this mould as with so many others. Just because it is getting a new head for a redeco, doesn't mean there are aren't going to be more redecos later.
Who knows, given all the options they have for Prime, this could be the next Seeker mould.
Version 1= Laser Prime (despite the movie colours), Nemesis Prime, Magnus, Toxitron etc.
Version 2= Motormaster, Overload, Thunder Clash & co.

 

Hell its got a mouth, maybe its Laser Magnus but with a head more like Magnus' G1 armored bot had.

Either way, so hoping this doesn't hurt our chances for Scourge.

Crown looks very WFC Zeta Prime to me.

I had also considered the thought of this mold as Motormaster if for no other reason than the sword. But I just can't picture his face without the big block hood around it.

Ah Brainfart! I was so fixated on thinking combiner team members, that I confused Universe Overkill with Rippersnapper! Damn colors!

Could be Sentinel. Shouldn't be Zeta, he never made it to have an Earth mode.

Is there any chances that whoever made the instruction just drew the face wrong?

 

Obvious addition to that list is Wildrider. Even if he is an exclusive... That makes 3/5 stunticons released if this is indeed Motormaster... 4/5 if you count Botcon G2 Breakdown.

 

Don't forget the 2 ROTF Dead End figures and ROTF Brakedown.

 

Yeaaah... I don't count those. They're not CHUG.

 

They're good stand-ins for now, until we do get CHUG versions.

 

It's like you read my mind or something!   If HasTak are gonna go garish colours on this mold, They might as well go all-out...  

 

i tend to think ROTF Breakdown is pretty tops....Dead End could use a new head though and I'd accept it...Who else would be so vain and nihilistic that they would assume the form of a concept car. The hard part now is finding/making 2 more auto-cons in the scout class.

I was wanting to have DOTM Megs be the stand in for Motormaster...but if this does turn out to be Motormaster and the deco works....I might just say fuck it and get this guy....or maybe not.

 

Motor Master = The place where awesome and lame combine
Ultra Magnus = Acceptable (It makes OK sense and I like the idea of UM getting more than a straight repaint of Prime in this series)
Overload = Cool
RID Scourge/Nemesis Prime = Cool and Obvious (I would prefer something more obscure)
Clench = Very Cool
Toxitron = Love

 

The deluxe is obviously Wildrider.
