Me. Now buying Transformers just may be a little more fun. I just bought 2 shares of Hasbro stock today. HAS. Why? Maybe one day I can attend a Hasbro shareholder meeting just for the fun of it. :D

P.S. Mods please feel free to move this post if it's not TFs enough.

Careful who you share this with on the boards, you may become the new scapegoat.

"Why did we get a neon green repaint of Munkey Prime?!"

"Because Backscatter didn't put his two Hasbro shares to use!"

    :lolol

I'm holding you responsible if we don't get the remaining constructicons in the TF3 line or any more HAs after Mudflap.

You guys are too funny. :lol  However if Hasbro ever asks me for my 2 cents, you can be sure I'll share the question with TFW before answering. So help me Primus!

Get ready for your inbox to fill up with people demanding you make Hasbro do stuff. Ignore those people, they're idiots who don't understand how Hasbro works.

Now, seeing as you're a shareholder, get Hasbro to make a Universe Jazz and Wheeljack.

Maybe we should all buy Hasbro stock, then their shareholder meetings turn into whiny choruses of "When are we going to get a Tracks repaint out of Sideswipe and a Human Alliance Jazz".

... how much stock would we need to own to force Hasbro to do our bidding?

Maybe if we all buy two shares and unite to form TFWShareholdertron we can smash them into submission through our combined gestalt shareholding might.

I've always wondered that. And wondered if it would be a suicidal move from a business standpoint. We'd need at least a significant portion of shares, possibly even a controlling interest. That... could cost some money.

OP, you could inquire, but I think as a shareholder you'd be entitled to attend shareholder meetings (depending on their proxy protocols), and have access to Hasbro annual reports, which depending on their confidentiality, would make for some interesting reading material for the fans.

Ya know, these posts might be on to something. If enough fans bought 2 shares and learn to speak together (for the most part) maybe Hasbro would start to listen more closely to fans, at least the ones from TFW2005.

BTW, if anyone is interested. www.sharebuilder.com With fees, 2 shares of Hasbro set me back $103.00. A lot of fans spend more than this on Transformers in a month.

Oh, and for fans who just want the annual reports: http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=68329&p=irol-alerts

:lolol  I'm sure we'd promptly run the company straight into the ground trying to make all the toys and retools that we want.

Good luck getting enough fans to agree on what Hasbro "should do", even with that level of power.

"You must get the Animated line going again!"

"What? FUDGE no! What they need to do is bring in all the Alternity and Hybrid Style stuff!"

"That un-fun metal fiddly crap will never sell! Let's just pull for a Universe Jazz!"

"Universe Jazz? I can get behind that!"

    "Yes."

    "YES!"

"Yes, but it has to be supreme class"

"Yes, but only if it's a Deluxe"

"Yes, on the condition that they make a toy of my fanfic character, AwesomeMcSexymus Prime, first."

    "Shareholders meeting adjourned."
