That looks like some ******ed nonsense. Spartan's don't have fucking sword fights with elites, nor do they try to power fist Brutes. They crawl up your goddamn nostril, plant a tactical nuke, eat all the food in your fridge, sleep in your bed then they bugger off all without you ever knowing because they're that damn good. Just animate The Fall of Reach and be done with it. I hope newer trailers show something of interest, I don't want to see stupid traditional anime nonsense under a Halo overcoat.
I'd rather see this then some fiction similar to "Halo:Uprising" or something. Atleast stuff is happening here.

This is probably me being stupid, but they've said that the only non-canon one was Toeis,and that it was mostly "done for fun", but (probably pre-biased knowing about the studio) the scenes shown from their part make me think it's going to be a DBZ joke. The ball from the sky, the brute as a monkey, the running punch with an aura... etc. Most likely crazy-talk, but I just get that feeling. That heavily-armored Spartan from the BONES part look bad-aaaass though.
