The previous Gundam game that I'd assume this company made, Battlefield Record 0081 was rather decent. Not great but good. I have got a copy of it.

I'm sick of these third person gundam games, I'd much rather see a Cockpit View gundam game. Something akin to a mecha sim mmo complete with hand control sticks and foot pedals, I'd play that.

Considering how Bandai is pretty much pulling the plug on Gundam anything in the States, the chances of this getting over here are none to impossible.

From what I've heard about the MechWarrior/BattleTech MMO that's supposed to be coming out at some point in the future, that might be up your alley as almost all the views inside the robots are cockpits it would seem.

Can't help with the control sticks or foot pedals, though. You might need to combine the bottom of an arcade racing machine with a flight simulator for that.

I miss steel battalion for the original xbox. That was great. So was Gundam: Rise from the Ashes for Dreamcast. But this game looks like it will be pretty epic.

I guess the dynasty warriors themed gundam game will have to suffice for now.

I have been playing this game, and it has been a blast. The controls are really good. Anyone tried it out yet?

I just got a PS3 for Christmas. Downloaded this, but I am a bit lost. They added some new menus and the online English translations are now out of date.

Going by the available online translations, there are a few new selectable areas added which are NOT featured in the current online translations. I have no idea what they say.

What would be fantastic is if someone took a screenshot of each current menu/area and translated the kanji in Photoshop to English.

I want to play this game, but before I do, I want to have it properly set up and know what everything is. This would be a tremendous help to all players, both old and new.

So far the available online translations are out of date and do not feature the newly added selections.

    I've found these 3 translations:

I've played it on a friends PS3, it's a fun game once you get use to the layout.

But leveling up and getting the Mobile Suits you wanted was a real bitch.
Farthest I got was getting the Dom and Acguy.

I'd rather we get ANYTHING Gundam over here.

Man, this game is hard. I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing, but using the starter mechs, in a room for beginners, I got my ass handed to me all 3 times.

Maybe I'll fare better in 6 hours.

I am playing this game a bit more in 6 vs 6 matches and getting the hang of it. Still don't know what the hell anything says, but I get the general idea.

However, when I play, I do really well playing it if it were in "capture the areas mode" (think star wars battlefront), BUT I can't read the damn game type options when I search or host a game so I always end up in the basic "which team has the most points wins" type of match and despite getting all the areas under my team's control and destroying the other team's base, we lose because of stupid points.

Anybody play this currently? Got and menu translations to English?
