not sure if we've seen these. i know there are pictures of the toys in the wild and preorder at bbts, but these are the packaging. showing skullgrins head mold (have we seen it?)

Cool. I might change my mind about Thunderwing. I just hate passing up new molds. Must.....not forget....back kibble..... >_<

 

if only that kibble could've been transformed in a way to make him bigger...

 

i passed up on wfc bumblebee because I thought he looked too fat but for some reason he looks great as cliffjumper, might have to pick him up

 

I absolutely LOVE the new packaging art. That said, Thunderwing and Skullgrin look out of fucking control awesome.

 

Awww... Thunderwing is level 2.. Easy.


Skullgrin looks much better in package. The colors look more... G1.

All bought.

 

I cannot wait for Skullgrin and Thunderwing. Both are bought on sight. I still love the fact that Skullgrin's head is a ram skull.  

 

Thunderwing should have been a Voyager! Argh.

 

Thunderwing: what back kibble? Almost all of it is made of detachable pieces...his missile launchers and his drone that Hasbro mentioned at BotCon.

 

I think that the missile launchers pointed downwards on the wings make pretty good facsimiles of the MASSIVE BOOSTERZ he had in the IDW version.

 

Wow, I never realized they were all listed as different Levels of Difficulty in transformation. In that case, I might skip Thunderwing. If it is listed as "easy", then it's probably another ROTF Jetfire. I don't think that WFC BB mold is difficult at all to transform. It's all about lining up the bits correctly, but I can see where a child might have trouble with that.

 

Gimme Thunderwing! And possibly Cliffjumper...not "Cybertronian," I see.

 

I think ROTF Jetfire is a total dick to transform.

I was just looking at Thunderwing's page on tfwiki, and saw the final comments, where they make fun of the original toy not having his big purple gun from the comics...

well, now he has two of them! Also, I love his character art in the package.

 

I'll probably get all of those. Cliffjumper maybe for just the head. It might look ok on the classics mold.

Passing on Cliffjumper and Skullgrin (dig the headsculpt and colors, but I already have Straxus and am disappointed that Skullgrin has the exact same set of weapons). Thunderwing looks good tho.

 

Oh now i'll never be able to decide between darkmount and skullgrin...

 

I'm getting both. I think Skullgrin can be creatively mistransformed to appear a bit different to Darkmount, and his colors are great.
