While I do agree that Terradive does look like the conquest X-30... I'm getting more of a "Sukhoi Su-47" vibe from him. *ponders*

Anyway, these guys are such a MUST HAVE for me. I adore Plane/Jet-formers. Plus this time around not only are we getting more Aerial-formers we're getting Aerial-formers that aren't all F-22s and F-15s. Yay variety?

I get more of a Conquest look. The canards are similar, as is the shape of the nose/LERX's. The vertical stabilizers are of a similar shape and canted at a similar angle. Canon ports in the front of the nose look similar too. Itching to find out who the repaint is. Hopefully Space Case or Dogfight. Fitting for the latter because the G1 version was an X-29, and the Conquest designation was X-30, and head explodes :bay

Anyone notice that the movie line(s) feature Lockheed based designs heavily(with the designer's takes on them)?:
    • Breakaway/Thrust - JSF F-35B
    • Starscream - F-22
    • Jetfire - SR-71
    • Highbrow - P-38
Would be cool to see future figures with alt modes based on, or rather derived from the F-104 Starfighter and F-16. In fact, I'm surprised we haven't seen an F-16 Transformer for any modern(fully articulated) TF line yet.

I'm surprised no one has commented on Terradive's Gerwalk mode.

Highbrow is win. Those propeller engines don't look bad at all hanging off the arms so the hands are somewhat close to the body. I just want to give that plane mode a blackwash STAT. All those details, the rivets, the seams...a blackwash is going to make that alt. mode be absolutley BAD-ASS I tell you. BAD. ASS. After that, all Highbrow will need is a few Nazi Swastikas right in front of the cockpit, since an old timer like him is sure to have taken down some of the Luttwaffe in his day.

Terradive doesn't look that bad, either. I like the included weapon storage for the trident. Hell, he might make a good Generations Space Case as well.

Hmm, all true, but what about the horizontal stabilizer? The Conquest has them, but Terradive doesn't. I take it that's just artistic license?

    1. That is an awesome thing to point out...
    2. I second your statement.

Ugh I just can't get over the legs on some of these figures. They look horrible and hasbro needs to stop this trend.
