is it me or is Snake Eyes so bad ass that while Duke was barking an order, Snake Eyes told him to fuck off in 18 languages just by nodding his head up and down?
i mean, right before that nice air drop onto the pier....

at one point watching 1&2, i thought i was watching cut scenes for Ninja Gaiden.

am really stoked about this one.
oh, and what happened to the Flagg....
    that was just f-in lowball...
(but groovy in some way for plot and tension.)

Somebody has finally topped Jonny Quest and Venture Brothers for body count in a single episode of a cartoon. And, they only had to wipe out Moscow, to do it!

I've never been a huge fan of G.I. Joe,but this is frigging awesome. There needs to be a Transformers version of this.

I enjoyed the tension between the two of them. Not so much because of the implied love triangle, but because in the original cartoon everyone thought the sun went out when he sat down.

I could almost imagine him thinking 'You could go the same way as Bazooka.. Not a mark.'

Not to mention Major Bludd and Bazooka getting killed off early.

Still awaiting ep. 4. On a plus side, G.I. Joe Resolute will be hitting Teletoon (Canada's version of CN/Adult Swim) soon.

Anyone want to play "I SPY"?
Guess all the Joe's in episode 3.

From the group shot: left to right, back to front.

Girl in hat. Lady Jay??? Is that a girl?
    Stalker
    Spirit
    Wild Bill
    Roadblock
    Rock and Roll
    Breaker??? In Front of R&R.
    Doc
    Beachhead
    Gung Ho
    Shipwreck
    Flint
    Tunnel Rat???
Guy in front of TR, ??Ripcord?? based on the Marlon Wayans portrayal?
and at the end I am pretty sure that's Cover Girl.

Good Roster, could use a General Hawk though.

Is it just me, or does it seem like the ENTIRE cast is voiced by Steve Blum and Tara Strong?

I'm pretty certain Blum is at least 3 of the GI Joes (Duke, the cowboy guy with the mustache, and the blonde techie), and Cobra Commander sounds like Blum too.

Edit: HOLY SHIT. I just saw on IMDB that Charles Adler is Cobra Commander. THIS. IS. AWESOME. For those who don't know, Adler is the voice of Bayformer Starscream and G1 Silverbolt. From what I could tell, Adler's CC voice is the same one he used for Starscream.

Once again, the same voice actor is Starscream AND CC. THIS IS AWESOME. I hope Resolute becomes a weekly 30-minute series so we can get more of his CC...

    That's the dream.

Anyhow, yeah I was going to hold off til they show them all this coming weekend but I had to peek....at the first 3. What can I say, it hooked me! I'm loving it so far. I was pumped when I heard Joaquim Dos Santos was directing. I immediately became a fan of his from his work on JLU. Joe's animation is great and I love the character designs. Warren Ellis as writer isn't too shabby either :)

I can not wait to see the whole series.

No. In fact, it confuses it further.
Scarlett + Duke = cartoon, whereas Scarlett + Snake Eyes = comic (until IDW's slow and boring reboot anyway). So it's even less clear which continuity (if any) they're following with Resolute.
Whatever they're doing, I'm extremely impressed. The first 3 little parts have absolutely rocked.

    Snap indeed!

One of the things I'm loving is that while each part is it's own chapter it feels more continuous then the Clone Wars. I feel like I'm watching one film in small chunks, not a series of short stories. This is going to dominate in one viewing!

It wouldn't be so bad, if Blum had a little more range for his voices. Duke, Wild Bill, and the unnamed tech all kind of run together. I thought that tech was Duke, at first. Nothing against Blum, I just think that they need to hire another VA or two.
