Leaving aside the GI Joe stuff, which I don't really care about, how much of this is new since the last time Humble Bundle did a TF bundle? I imagine I already have most of what they're offering.

This literally gives you everything in the IDW-verse pre 2012. If you go for the $25 set, you get all of the Phase 1 IDW Collections.

Then you get 1-4 of the Phase 2 collections, which is basically the first year and a half of MTMTE and RID. These were definitely already in the first bundle, but as the trade paperbacks.

For anyone who's read it, how is the GI Joe stuff in the $1 threshold? That's a lotta comics for a dollar... if they're even popcorn good, hey, why not.

The "Fall of G.I. Joe" series is a load of old shite. The rest in that tier is mostly just okay-ish, with "Cobra Command", "Siren's Song" and "Snake Eyes, Agent of Cobra" being highlights, IMO.

The best of the Joe material on offer is The Last Laugh, in the $8 tier. It collects a storyline about Chuckles that ran across several Cobra titles, and is really properly very good.

This is all for digital copies, correct? I only want hard copies, to be honest.
Then again, I believe I would have everything here, as far as HCs go.

If I already bought the previous bundle, which had MTMTE and RID through like issue thirty-something, is there anything TF-related worth it here?

...heck of a deal for someone wanting to dive in: i avoided the IDW books for years because the digital price of entry was so high that i eventually bought the hardcover collections instead, but even they took a couple of years to track down in physical format...

Eh, I say go for it. It's only a buck. I'm not a G.I. Joe fan myself and I'm still wanting to read the old Marvel run before I read Regeneration 1.

Have they ever done an HB for the old Marvel Comics' G1 comics run?

They have not. I imagine that if they ever pull their heads out of their asses and finish the UK material (and maybe G2?!), we may get a bundle a year or so after that.

Would LOVE a Marvel GI Joe Bundle tho

I mean, if you haven't read the pre Roberts/Barber era, it may be worth it. The Furman stuff (IDW Collection 1-4) is pretty cool, though quality definitely drops after that.

Yes, digital copies. Folks who've gone in other Humble Bundles may know differently, but so far as I'm aware, the only time I've ever seen a physical item available was when they included a physical set of Revolution trading cards with the most recent TF-related Humble Bundle.

Oh I got those back when they came out. I only stopped getting the books regularly after All Hail Megatron, and I still got digital versions pretty much straight through to the start of Revolution, when the massive "dump everything Hasbro ever did into this continuity" plan put me off of IDW pretty much entirely.

most of the modern tf comics really suck if you ask me. I just dont get it. I love the miner megatron origin story, and a few one shots..

But even still..$25 for ALL this??!?! holy shit..this IS one of the most baddass humble bundles ive seen in awhile

I don't think any TF fiction has enriched the overall lore of the franchise as much as IDW has since Beast Wars, and for that, I really appreciate that. I think from about 2012 to like 2015, they were some of the best comics out there. Unfortunately, there was a slow decline in quality since then, and the Hasbro-verse has basically ruined the universe beyond repair for me.

I'm not a fan of Digital comics but I LOVE G.I. Joe so hopefully i'll be able to go for this. I wish this deal lasted longer though, it would be great for Christmas.
