It doesn't really mean faction colors, but perhaps a color change of some kind and your logos changing, which would be way more effective than the current system.

Perceptor is a tank, sweet. And he's slightly taller than a Prime chasis, double sweet.

 

Looking good, but will reserve final judgement before we get to see a little more. If the color palette is universal as well as all the parts, then this should be a much better character customizer than in WFC.

About the colors show, remember people that one of the first MP trailers we had for WFC showed a white and black Optimus.

Color choices can very easily change at this point. Don't assume the best and also don't assume the worst. Just be Zen and wait and see.

Funny how all of these are just repaints of characters.
It's not a good example of the variety. They should randomize not repaint characters.

 

Perceptor is not a titan. His bodytype is used by Titans, however.

It's probably a reference to the size of his original toy.

 

And his RTS toy. Here's hoping that if you go full Perceptor, the resulting vehicle is a half-track!

I hope that his parts are labeled Science Parts.

 

In the first picture, you can see Starscream with what appears to be Jetfires torso - or, is it Jetfire with Starscreams head?

 

Titan as in soldier/tank.. the torso part of your customed bot determines the vehicle.. so perceptor's alt mode will most likely be a tank considering his shoulder cannon and he has no wheels for a car or truck..

 

Remeber its still in early stages and its meant to be better not completly diffrent and the chest has to look similar as it determines the alternate form

I'm still hoping for visors, shades (ala Swindle, Air Raid, etc.), and single optics.

 

Prefer the first game's, i feel this is a step down.

I think it just looks that way due to everyone else being behind him.
