All of this is awesome!
Wow, if his articulation is able to get as crazy as his design, he is going to be the most fun action master ever conceived. I can dig the price since it sounds like it won't need any finishing after the build.
It's funny; my first impulse from the reveal was "man these guys look weird. At least good ol' Screamer is okay." Now I've come 180. Optimus looks dynamic and energetic. Hound will be fun if all that bulk doesn't impede him from going similarly wild. Bumblebee looks fine to me. It's Starscream who feels too tame now.
So the price is 40 and he is 15.5 cm, thats not that bad. Not gonna get him. I'll just wait for the non-model version. He looks super cool
It might be designed by someone from Trigger, but those proportions and the entire aesthetic screams Masami Obari's art style.
Not sure I'm going to bite on Prime but I am all about that bumblebee

I don’t have a lot of experience with model kits, will these ones come pre-painted?
The plastic is molded in the colors needed, so you don’t have to paint if you don’t want to. There are usually small details you could paint, or you can consider panel lining or ink washes, but the basic kit should look pretty close to what you see.
Is the pelvic thrust optional? Can he stand up straight? I'm doing star wars models right now, and transformers would be great to get into.
Nice! I was worried he be a bit too much since he’s a bit short but that’s great!
Bought. SO definitely bought. I have no clue when I'll get around to assembling it, but I am buying this.
Kinda reminds me of the Sentinel Optimus Prime Transformer Pens.
Gonna wait for pictures/reviews of him standing straight up.
I agree the posture and anime proportions are much like the pens.
So are the model kits in scale with their normal figures?
I’m planning to deck these guys into action master colours. Makes them a bit more interesting than having the same deco as the character usually has.
Oh, that's going to be fun to paint and panel line!
Agreed. I’m think an action master deco would be sweet on these.
I hope it doesn't require too many stickers for small details, those always fall off over time. It should look good with some decals though.
Will it be available on other foreign toy sites? I feel if they're only available at D4 they'll be hard to get.
Depends on the type of stickers though. Maybe if they were slide on it’d be good.
