I do wish Thunderbomb's robot mode head were more rounded. From the looks of the background art, though, being colored will help it look more like Bombshell.

between this and the tfc devy, my G1 classics shelf will have to get bigger, well mostly because of devy, But these are ace.

 

I see Chop Shop, Barrage, and Ransack themed repaints all over these things. The heads would work much better for the deluxe insecticons.

Also it looks like the Shrapnel-homage figure's weapons can be removed from his forearms. I would be willing to bet that there is an attachment point on the back somewhere to mount them in proper Shrapnel style!

 

I like the update of the Insecticons, but giving Stormshred(Shrapnel) and Backfire(Kickback) mouthplates seems a little odd, but realizing that its the only way that FansProject doesn't get the copyright infringment letter from Hasbro/TakaraTomy. So its cool. Maybe in my mind the Insecticons evolved into more powerful forms.

 

It's going to be an expensive year...
