So, Carnivius_Prime on Seibertron posted this image of a new Argos catalog showing off the new toys for TLK, and aside from Leader Megatron being mistakenly used for the Legion listing, the most interesting thing is the DOTM Voyager Optimus Prime brandishing a sword and shield in the bottom right corner.


Thoughts as to what this could be?

It's in place of where the TLK voyager should be, and seeing as how they use Voyager Megatron in place of the Legion figure it wouldn't be out of th question that someone got sent and used the wrong images. However, the DOTM mold has never been released in those colors, not has it come with what looks like a Construct-Bots sword(happened before) and a shield. This could be of a KO, but I've never seen one like this before. Nothing on google either. So maybe it's real?

 

I wouldn't be surprised if it is real.
Let's not forget we are getting the Bomber Megatron in this line.

Another thing that shows it's most likely not a ko:
Sirtoys doesn't have one with those colors/accessories.

I was in Argos yesterday and they have Voyager Prime listed on the Computer Catalogue but it is TLK Prime that is pictured. I think theyve just used the wrong photo

 

I remember getting Alternators Smokescreen in Argos for £20. He'd cost £40 now for the same toy.

Would really like this to be real. Haven't seen a store exclusive in the UK in ages and I miss them.

 

What i dislike about this is it's a weak mold in a bad deco.
It plays into the hands of people who claim ALL Paramount movie toys are bad without exception.

 

Who makes these catalogues xD I remember for Combiner wars Vortex was depicted as a Voyager :')
